class="wp-block-paragraph">Seattle Reign FC have completed the signing of Ivorian international forward Ami Diallo from ASEC Mimosas on a contract running through the 2028 NWSL season.

The transfer sees the 25-year-old attacker move to the United States following a standout campaign in which she helped ASEC Mimosas retain their Ivorian Division 1 title and reach the CAF Women’s Champions League final.

Diallo joins Seattle for an agreed transfer fee and is expected to arrive in the coming weeks, pending receipt of her P-1 visa.

31 Goals and Another League Title

Diallo enjoyed a remarkable 2025/26 domestic campaign with ASEC Mimosas.

The forward scored 31 goals, finishing second in the Ivorian Division 1 scoring charts, while helping the club secure their second consecutive league title.

Her performances established Diallo as one of the leading attacking players in Ivorian women’s football.

Now she will take those goalscoring numbers and attacking qualities to one of the world’s most competitive women’s leagues.

CAF Champions League Breakthrough

Diallo also made a major impact on the continental stage.

ASEC Mimosas reached the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League final in their first appearance in the competition.

Across five matches, Diallo recorded:

⚽ 3 goals

🅰️ 1 assist

⭐ A two-goal, one-assist performance against Gaborone United

That performance helped ASEC reach the semi-finals, while Diallo later scored ASEC’s only goal in the final against Moroccan side AS FAR.

Although ASEC ultimately missed out on the trophy, Diallo’s performances attracted significant attention across African women’s football.

Recognition Among Africa’s Best

Her outstanding season earned Diallo a place among the finalists for the 2025 CAF Women’s Interclub Player of the Year award.

She was one of just three players shortlisted for the prestigious individual honour.

That recognition further underlines the level of performance she produced before making the move to the NWSL.

Seattle Reign See Huge Potential

Seattle Reign FC General Manager Lesle Gallimore described Diallo as a dynamic attacking player with the ability to perform at a high level.

Gallimore highlighted her quality, believe Diallo’s experience of competing internationally and at continental level will help her make the transition to the NWSL.

Diallo Excited for the Next Chapter

Diallo is equally enthusiastic about the move to the United States.

<p
